missin my "Me" time!

Hello sweet cheeks!

I am soooo excited...I just returned home from a CPR class that was suppose to be from 6-9 pm...but instead only went until 7:30...Yaahhooo!!! Aside from the all day fitness workshop on Sunday...that should pretty much rap up all the re-certs I need for the next 2 years....Yaaahhooo again!...a weight has been lifted for sure!

alright...so we all know that we eat more when were bored....right?...well today I heard that if you sniff coffee beans instead of mindless eating...it's suppose to slow down your urge to snack...think I'll try it and get back to you :)

Tomorrow will be the first day..(crossing my fingers)...that everyone will be back to school and work (and not home sick)...and I am secretly sooooo excited to just do my thing and not have anyone mess with my "me" time! Goodness gracious it's been a bit and I'm starting to get cranky about it!

Well off to read my 15 minutes of spiritual text...and watch A.Idol...(love that I can skip through the commercials)....sleep tight and don't let the bed bugs bite...

Welcome baby Phoenix :)

So do you ever feel like you think your doing things right...then find out your not?...or that you are always trying to make everybody happy...which in return nobody is?...well today that is exactly how I'm feeling...sigh...!!! I'm thinking of finding myself a hole and crawling right in.

On a more positive note...

A very dear friend of mine...(that I've known since 6th grade)...just gave birth to a sweet baby boy...after 2 days of labor...WOW!...Phoenix Orion Griffin...has entered the world...I cannot wait to meet the little cutie :)...I can remember back when her and I were 12...sitting in my room talking about what we were going to name our kids when we got older...we both made a pack that whoever had a girl first would name her Autumn Hope....and believe it or not, I did that very thing....who would have thought that our first born dumplings would be almost 17 years apart.

Again...allow me to close with a little inspirational quote for you all..."The more difficulties one has to encounter, within and without, the more significant and the higher in inspiration his life will be."

Good evening girls!

Jeez Louise is the rain ever going to leave??? I need to buy myself some rain boots asap...had another day of wet feet...standing out in the rain watching my oh so sweet niece get baptized was special indeed...but these wet shoes need to take a hike!

I absolutely cannot believe that as of today I have only 1 more week left of the challenge...I think there are 6 of us in the running... and besides me...two of them are my personal friends...all I have to say is...we ROCK for sure girlfriends!!! I am so proud of all of u who have kept with it!

Hello all you sweet things!

Well we bought the little critter...and I really am trying my darnest to like him :)...and yes it's a him...so the new name is "Scout"!

I just returned from a going away party...A good friend of my oldest is moving to France for 6 months...so sad for us...but VERY exciting for her indeed!...goodbye Annie...I will miss you :(

Not much happening in this household...half the family is sick...one being my Sweetums...and honestly I'm being REAL nice calling him that tonight...because he is the WORST sick person evvverrr...I should really be calling him my BIG pain in the bootie...lol!

Ok...I know I keep saying this girls...but if you are joining the next challenge...you have a bit over a week to get me the goods...money, picture and reason for joining...I really don't mean to be a pest but I am so excited about it and don't want you to miss out on this great opportunity!

Okay the Family is yelling at me to hurry up...guess their waiting to start the movie.

little critter....yikes!

Sweet Jesus please help me...now the middle dumpling is just dieing to buy a hamster...seriously, I'm not even sure I could handle it if it starts to stink...she's been saving her money since Christmas to buy the fluffy little critter...and for goodness sakes I really am trying to be a cool mom and be all excited with her...but honestly the things kinda freak me out...yikes! So, tomorrow we are heading to the pet store so she can buy her little "Violet"...yes , that's right...she apparently has already named it :)

Okay...I'm am closing early...going to try and get to bed at a decent time this evening...I've been gone since 8 am and really can't wait to get all snugglie and read my book...awwww!

Just plain cute!

Okay listen to this...it is sooo cute...and you all know how much I'm a fan of cute things...cute words...cute anything...ok, ok anyways...my oldest dumpling was asked to homecoming yesterday...Awww...I know, cute right?...well here's some more cuteness to throw your way...he not only just asked her...he had flowers sent to her in each class...then when the day was coming to an end....he came into class with more flowers in hand along with his guitar...and in front of everyone sang her the sweetest song asking her to be his date!!! Here's a picture that I think captured it all...

journal"er" wanna-be :)

Good evening sweet things!

I've said many times before I have wanted to be a journal"er"...I have envied folks who keep a cute little leather bound book on their bedside table...jotting down their daily adventures...and actually...at any given time...you could walk up to my bedside table and find many books...but definitely not a journal. When I started the challenge back in November...I knew the only way for me to not cheat on my journaling points would be to start a blog...so that I could publicly display all my cuckiness...to all of you...and who would have thought it would have turned into something I love to do...I so look forward to sitting down each evening writing about whatever comes to mind...I honestly can't believe I have written over 70 posts...a record for me indeed! I have received such wonderful feedback...that I have decided to continue through the next challenge...and hopefully all of you...(my fancy followers)...will continue right along with me :)


Allow me to close with a quote I heard from my daughters best friend...I happen to think she is simply adorable and she will also be competing in the next challenge..."It's ordinary people who decide to step out and be part of something big. That's when they become extraordinary." I just love it I tell ya! Oh and by the way she just started a blog herself...what a cutie!
